Apply for Housing

To begin the process of applying for housing assistance with us, download the Pre-Application. People may qualify for more than one program. Please visit the Applicant FAQ to learn more.

Applications are accepted in person and by mail at KH’s central office located at 831 Court Street, Keene, NH 03431 or via email at apply@keenehousing.org. All required information must be completed at the time you submit the pre-application.

Submit your Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) application online.

Staff is available to help with completing the pre-application on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 to 3:30pm. If those times do not work for you, staff is available to help by appointment. Please call 603-352-6161 or email apply@keenehousing.org. KH will contact you about the status of your application within ten (10) business days of receipt.

Once you are placed on the waiting list, it is your responsibility to notify us of any change to your mailing address, phone number, or the size of your household. If you don’t report these changes, you may lose your place on the waiting list. To update your information, please complete the Pre-Application/Application Update Form.
