Forest View Site Visit for Upcoming Project

Post on January 11, 2019

Keene Housing is gearing up for the next big project at Forest View which consists of all new roofs, front and back doors, storm/screen doors, some cement porches, solar panels on the roofs and all new heat pump/air conditioner units that will replace the big thermal heaters in living rooms as well as the wall mounted heaters in the bedrooms.

Yes, residents will have wall mounted air conditioners in the living room and bedrooms and no longer need window models. Each room will have its own thermostat to control the heat and/or air conditioning.

On Thursday, January 17, 2019, Keene Housing’s Architectural/Engineering Team (along with the Keene Housing Maintenance Staff) will be looking at every apartment exterior door, front and back, to inspect the existing frames and hardware.  They will also be looking at the ADA apartments and the two upstairs apartments for layout design.

Residents do not have to be present during the informational inspection; KH staff will open and re-lock apartment doors.

We will be having an informational meeting as we get closer to the actual project and all will be invited to come, meet the contractors and ask questions.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Sandy Clark, Director of Facilities and Assets at 352-6161 or email or Leslie Horne, Property Manager at 352-6161 or email

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this very exciting project!
